Facts are easy to quantify. Rhetoric is not. Talking points
are not. The facts are so staggering that politicians and the media don’t want us to
understand them. Here are a couple of facts that no one can dispute.
2011 $2,303 Billion $3,603 Billion
Year Federal Revenue Federal
Spending
2000 $2,052 Billion $1,789
Billion2011 $2,303 Billion $3,603 Billion
Percent Change 13% 101%
Would someone please explain to me why we keep electing the
same people who could not understand that we cannot continue to grow spending at
a rate of more than 100 percent over a decade while revenue only grew by 13%
over the same period.
Please press the reset button. We need to start over.
